Kristie Barnett-Sexton, Friday Morning Session Speaker
Kristie Barnett-Sexton has a heart for people much like her father and mother, Pastor Tommy and Marja Barnett who for over 30 years have pastored one of the largest and fastest growing churches in America. She was raised in the local church and believes in the ability to change a community through God’s people. It is this belief that has helped define her life.
Kristie’s warm personality, down-to-earth good humor and genuine love for ministry has enabled her to connect people with God and His dream for their lives. Her life reflects the message that she teaches – that people have incredible God-given potential waiting to be set into action. Kristie’s desire is to see women celebrated and walk in their full potential is evident in her practical teaching.
Kristie lives in Arizona and thoroughly enjoys the sunshine and the beautiful outdoors. She has been married to the love of her life, Kent for over 25 years and they have three grown children; Kent Jr., Chantelle, and Chase. She is also the proud G-ma to a handsome grandbaby, Evan.
SPECIAL SESSION SPEAKERS
Dr. Gayle Rogers is founder and president of Forever Free, Inc., & A.C.E. Network, a coaching for empowerment group, located in Dana Point, California. Her primary focus is equipping, coaching and training “trainers” to facilitate wholeness and healing, as well as carry the Kingdom message throughout the world. Dr. Gayle leads conferences nationally and internationally with a strong apostolic/prophetic and healing anointing.
She is a member of International Breakthrough Ministries under the leadership and mentorship of Barbara Wentroble, and has frequently traveled internationally with Barbara’s “breakthrough team.” Dr. Gayle is a prophetic intercessor and team director with AIN, a professional marketplace intercessory group, currently leading intercessory teams, serving clients in six countries. She is on the Executive Council of Kingdom Congressional International Alliance, a cutting edge new wineskin ministry with a global span throughout the world.
As a mental health professional Dr. Gayle’s therapy practice integrates a clinical therapeutic approach using cognitive behavioral therapy with the healing power of God’s Word. Her clinical expertise is in the areas of posttraumatic stress disorder, depression/anxiety issues, sexual trauma, and domestic violence. She also focuses on spirit/mind/body healing through training her clients how to change their thought patterns ridding the body and mind of toxic emotional trauma. Her practice includes individual face to face and group therapy, teleconferencing, and Skype/web-based therapy.
Dr. Gayle and her husband Ed of 32 years have three daughters and seven grandchildren. They have recently relocated back to California to pioneer ministries in the Orange County area. She has authored several books, including the most recently released, The Whole Soul– Rescripting Your Life for Personal Transformation. This book focuses on embracing your authentic identity, and changing mindsets with the authority to take control over negative thought patterns. Dr. Gayle is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor through American Association of Christian Counselors, a certified “Train the Trainer” through the University of Oklahoma, and a certified clinical treatment specialist in both domestic violence and sexual offense. She has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Women’s Studies.
Pastor Penny Pace~Now serving families at The River of Life in Phoenix, AZ people affectionately refer to her as “Pastor Penny.” Penny was called into the ministry of the gospel at the age of 18 and began her love affair with Jesus through singing, directing choirs and coordinating workshops.
During her years in ministry she has helped to record and produce albums for The River of Life choir, staged musical productions and has actively lead mission trips to Haiti, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Mexico. Although her heart in caring for families has prompted her to take an active role in directing the children’s ministry and women’s bible studies, she still can be found serving on the praise team Sunday mornings leading others to worship the Lord.
Currently Penny serves as an associate pastor and has been married to Bryan Pace for 31 years. Together they are the proud parent of their two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Elizabeth.
Lychellia Cheeks~Wife for 30 years, mother of four, and grandmother to Cameron and Anngela, Lychellia was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After marrying Roger, Lychellia and Roger moved to Indiana where she worked with Roger in ministry as he pastored Miracle Church Ministries. By faith they moved to Virginia where she works with Pastor Roger in a new church plant, New Dominion Fellowship. She supports New Dominion Fellowship as bible study instructor, a part of the prayer team and as facilitator of NDF Kingmaker study group. With a Master’s from Regent University, Lychellia is currently the Supervisor of Secondary Social Studies in Chesapeake Public Schools where she develops and facilitates customized instructional inservices for public school teachers. Being a part of the Kingmaker movement is a gift from God Almighty!
